Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry at Hill Crest Baptist Church is a multi-functional ministry that preaches and teaches at one time or another to every member of Hill Crest.

The Prayer Ministry is, of course, far reaching as well as personal. Every Sunday morning at 9:45 a prayer session is held at two different locations with the express purpose of lifting up the service, staff, and congregational needs.

Other activities consist of monthly fishing tournaments as well as occasional men's retreats, golf outings, brotherhood breakfast and any other requirement as the Lord may lead.

helping hands

Director:  David Littleton

We all have TALENTS and SKILLS. Are you looking for something to keep you busy? The Helping Hands is a ministry that reaches out to help those who can not do for themselves. We help with small home repairs to small electrical or plumbing repairs, often times cut trees down and build ramps.  Our Helping Hands ministry helps those that are disabled, economically distressed or in emergency need. They minister on an individual basis. If you would like to help in this ministry with your skills or  donations you may contact the church office.

Bass club

The Hill Crest Bass Club is a great ministry of men and women who enjoy fellowshipping and competing with others who share the same interest. Our tournaments are usually on the 2nd Saturday of each month starting at safe daylight and ending around 2:00 pm for weigh in. Occasionally we meet in the evening for night time tournaments and husband and wife tournaments throughout the year. The Raymond Pitts Memorial tournament is held every spring on the weekend of Good Friday with a picnic and a time for you to bring your family for some great fellowship. An annual awards banquet is held at the end of our fishing season, usually in November, with a nice dinner and election of new officers. Be sure to check out our calendar on this web site for upcoming tournament location, launch site and time. For more information contact Adam Hubbard @ 256-310-1338 Bass Club president
